Mr. Battis! I find that last point fascinating too. Just out of curiosity, any word on whether or not that lathe is perfected?

Andrew! No word on the lathe, although I know that Mr. Mulik was asking about the code for it this fall. I haven’t heard from him since September or October, however (and no one has requested access to the lathe code at Google Code, which is Not A Hopeful Sign.)

That’s unfortunate. Hopefully they continue working with it at some point. I’m actually taking computer science now and was wondering if you remembered one of the sites we used as a resource. It listed out tons of different methods and descriptions of what they did and how to include them in code. Let me know if you have any idea which site that was! Hope all is going well in CA.

Good question. Was it the OpenGL reference?

Or just straight up Java reference?

The second OpenGL reference looks the most familiar. I think that’s the one. Thank you! Are you enjoying CA?

Very much. Yes. :) Living in a land of perpetual sunshine is great. And being engaged doesn’t hurt either. :)

That’s right! Congratulations. I’m not in a land of perpetual sunshine, but PA is still much better than MA in terms of weather.
