Interestingly, I forgot to mention the idea of straight-up posting attachment-type content to the web and passing around links. (I mentioned one or two versions of this, but not the whole idea.) For example, posting images to Flickr and then sending a Guest Pass link to all the folks who might want to see those pictures.
